Day 01 : Makassar – Bira
Arrive in Makassar, meet with your guide and direct transfer to Bira through the beautiful Makassarnese villages. Lunch enroute and late afternoon check-in a hotel in Bira and dinner.
Day 02 : Bira
After breakfast, snorkeling and relaxing on the white sandy beach and lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon the program continue to visit traditional boat building yard at Tana Beru. Back to the hotel for dinner.
Day 03 : Bira – Kajang – Sengkang
After breakfast, leave for sengkang via kajang village. Here you will have opportunity to see the unique Kajang tribe people who live according to traditional rules. Lunch enroute afternoon arrive in Sengkang and check-in a hotel. Royal dinner and overnight
Day 04 : Sengkang – Palopo – Toraja
After breakfast, visit the silk weaving and direct drive to Toraja through the Buginese village. Lunch at local restaurant in Palopo. Proceed up to Toraja with winding road. Late afternoon arrive in Rantepao check-in a hotel and dinner.
Day 05 & Day 06 : Two days Toraja Excursion
Two days the cultural experience in Toraja highlands, we visiting the ancient stone grave where the bodies of the death are placed with animistic ritual that is still performed today as it has been for centuries. The remarkable architecture of traditional Toraja houses which are designed in a boat shape and any ceremonies such as funeral and local animal market will be in the program.
Day 07 : Toraja Rafting
After breakfast, a land rover will take you up and over the mountains to the trailhead. Trek for 20 minutes down the river side to start rafting. The rafting will take 4 to 5 hours on the lovely Maulu river. Lunch box provided, late afternoon return to the hotel.
Day 08 : Toraja – Makassar
Breakfast at the hotel then leave for Makassar take 7 to 8 hours. Lunch enroute, direct to the Makassar airport for your next destination.
